SWAP HOURS: SATURDAY/SUNDAY 10AM-5PM. MONDAY 10AM-3PM. HEINO'S WILL BE OPEN UNTIL 6PM ON MONDAY!
The Swap is an outdoor sale held under two huge tents right in front of the store. The tents are packed to overflowing with great equipment and apparel. Always held on Columbus Day weekend in October, it is a perfect time to sell or buy used equipment. This year the dates are October 10 -12, 2009.
HOW TO SELL
Bring equipment for sale to the store on Friday, October 9th between the hours of 10am and 8pm. You will be asked to fill out a swap tag for each item you wish to sell, which includes a description of the item, the price you want to sell it for, and your name and address. The cost is $1.00 per tag. If you are not sure what price to mark, we are always happy to offer our advice. Just remember, used items do not sell for much and most old items do not sell at all.
Then, just leave the items here, if they sell, you get the money LESS 20%. If they do not sell, you will need to pick up these items by 6pm, Monday October 12th. Items remaining at Heino's after October 21 will become property of Heino's and we will not take reponsibility for lost/damaged items.
WE WILL NOT SELL
Any damaged items, Non-Indemnified bindings or boots, ice skates, small accessories- such as googles, gloves, hats, "straight" skis and any non-winter equipment.
HOW TO BUY
Please ask for help. There is much to consider beyond the right size. Such as, is the equipment for adults or juniors, can the equipment be used together, are the bindings for the appropriate weight range and is the equipment the proper performance level.
Please bring CASH or CHECKS ONLY, because the swap does not accept credit cards.
After you buy, bring the equipment into the store for any servicing needs such as, tune-ups or binding mounting and adjustments. We offer special prices for swap equpment.
